Today we had a workshop with Anna from illustration and looked at composition of images and how it can convey meanings though cropping and perspective. We all chose a photo which Anna provided for us and sketched a variety of drawings of this image in different perspectives. By doing this we then had to arrange our sketches in different sequences to see how visually the story can be changed. We put these into a book and decided whether the images we visually stronger as a double page spread or against a plain page. I thought this workshop was very interesting because I liked the way that we stretched quickly as I think the images have a lively nature to them. I also like how by changing the perspective of one image it can create lots of different outcomes which provides a narrative through one image.
